The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts is eagerly awaiting applications from excellent students for its Jay Goldenberg Legacy Scholarships in the USA.

To be eligible for admission to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA), overseas applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate a strong passion for acting. Admission is based on a combination of academic records, an audition, and a personal statement.

The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA) is a premier institution dedicated to training aspiring actors for careers in film, television, and theater. Located in the heart of New York City, NYCDA offers a hands-on, industry-focused curriculum that combines rigorous acting training with real-world experience. The Conservatory provides specialized programs in Film & Television Performance, Musical Theater Performance, and Theater Performance, emphasizing practical skills, audition techniques, and on-camera work.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Open to international students
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any subject offered by the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
  • Admissible Criteria:
    • Must be 18 years or older by the start of the Fall 2025 semester.
    • Must intend to study in New York, beginning Fall 2025.
    • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (85/100) and maintain a 3.5 GPA throughout their studies.

  • Legacy Scholarship Application Form
  • Legacy Scholarship Artistic Review Responses
